About Us

Founded in 1911, Tomlinson® is a world leading provider of No-Drip® faucets and fittings for beverage and liquid dispensing. We provide high quality Liquid Dispensing Products to ensure safe and industry-best delivery of beverages from serving container to the intended consumption container.

Tomlinson’s® Liquid Dispensing Products are sold into the global beverage and water markets under the “No-Drip®” and “Pro-Flo®” trade names and include plastic- and metal-based faucets for hot and cold beverages, as well as reverse osmosis water faucets for in-home water systems, bubblers and drinking water fountainheads in drinking fountains.

Our History

  • 1911

    Tomlinson Steam Specialty Company was founded by A. E. Tomlinson, representing a line of steam valves

  • 1921

    A. E. Tomlinson purchased the patent for the basic model A and model R Faucets to service coffee urns and started the Tomlinson No-Drip Faucet Company.

  • 1922

    Ralph E. “Tommy” Tomlinson starts working for his dad, devoting the majority of his time to the No-Drip Faucet Company.

  • 1930s

    Tomlinson continues to expand their No-Drip division with additional faucet heads and shanks of varying length with unique threads to ensure the coffee urn manufacturers the resale to service companies when the urn had to be serviced in the field.

  • 1942

    The Tomlinson gauge shield faucet was developed.

  • 1945

    Tomlinson survived World War II. While metals were rationed during the war, coffee was important to the armed forces and so Tomlinson received a small amount to continue to do business. Clever use of the rations as well as inventive ways of repairing faucets in the field helped Tomlinson survive during this period.

  • 1950s

    Tomlinson develops the model S faucet and sees the most dramatic surge of growth to date.

  • 1960s

    Tomlinson sees dramatic growth of the model P faucet as more coffee percolators are used in the home.

  • 1960s

    Tomlinson develops a new seat cup which almost immediately became the industry standard.

  • 1973

    The Tomlinson No-Drip Faucet business was bought by The Meyer Company.

  • 1990

    Tomlinson moves its headquarters to Cleveland, Ohio.

  • 2015

    Crown Brands, later known as Oneida Hospitality Group, acquires Tomlinson Industries

  • 2020

    Tomlinson develops the touchless faucet to assist with beverage dispensing during the pandemic. Tomlinson makes the difficult decision to rationalize their portfolio to concentrate on Faucets.

  • 2022

    1880 Hospitality acquires Tomlinson.

  • 2023

    Tomlinson launches their updated brand along with a new website.
